The Andrea Kutsch Academy is very pleased to announce that the academic accreditation commission officially recognised and accredited the bachelor degree course at our private university (in the course of formation) on 16 September 2008.

The AKA was founded by Andrea Kutsch in 2006 and is currently in the process of being reorganised into a private university.

We offer a three-year, full-time Bachelor of Science course in equine communication sciences, riding and training that is unique throughout the world. The strategic alignment of the Academy serves to enrich scientific knowledge in both a research and a teaching capacity. The results of our scientific endeavours are directly integrated into our practical work with the horse. The Academy's standard of scientific scholarship is assured by our cooperation partners on university level. The AKA is a partner of:

Andrea Kutsch, dubbed 'the horse whisperer' by the press, was the very first German pupil of the legendary horse trainer Dr (h.c.) Monty Roberts. She is the only instructor and trainer in Germany who is authorised to work in his name. She has dedicated herself to researching and developing modern equine training methods, as well as establishing a scientific foundation for the teaching of equine communication sciences in cooperation with prestigious international universities.

Andrea Kutsch holds university teaching positions in various faculties and teaching institutions, including the veterinary medicine faculty of the University of Zurich and the Free University of Berlin.
